 | Colourful Beach Sarongs from Coconut Hut Boutique
Gorgeous ethnic sarongs and wrap around scarves, many of which are dyed by hand. Sarongs are ideal for such a wide range of purposes and you don't need to be going away to a distant tropical shore just to own one.
Our latest Sarong range is the Tie Dyed ones appearing at the top. They are hand dyed in Thailand and come in a wide selection of colours to suit your own personal style. We also have the Batiq Dyed range which we have had for a while longer and these are now reduced as trhey are older stock. We also have few other random printed sarong designs.
Overall here at Coconut Hut you can find a good selection of colourful sarongs and at great prices. Styles include Batik, Printed, Woven and Tie Dyed. The many uses of The Sarong:
In hot weather especially use instead of your usual bath towel when you get out of the shower. Simply slip it around you and carry on about your business around the house without the need for getting dressed.
Take it with you on picnics and to parks and festivals, they are great to sit on and take up so little space in your bag.
Fold in a groovy way and tie creatively into a skirt, perhaps over leggings if you wish, then put on a vest top and there you have a new outfit.
Got long hair or dreadlocks, or just want a colourful head piece? then wrap around your hair in a turban sort of way and style your sarong into a unique head scarf anyhow you please.
Need some colour and decoration on your walls and something with a little texture? then drape onto your walls or ceiling using small nails or pins (depending on the consistency of your walls and who actually owns them!) to create a crazy bohemian atmosphere. Similarly if you have a boring chair, sofa or table then why not put a few sarongs together and use as throws about the home.
Going to a distant tropical or Mediterranean shore, plush spa pool or the English Riviera?! Then it is of course absolutely vital that you have a sarong with you. Wrap it around you as you smooch out of the ocean or pool and throw around you in a lazy summers way prior to venturing into the bar. Do not limit to just wearing the sarong though - use it equaly for sitting on at the beach! it weighs a lot less than a beach towel(and dries quicker) and fits snuggly into your beach bag.
Sarongs also make fabulous scarves and shawls, be it on a slightly breezy summers evening when you find your sarong randomly there in your bag - or in the bleakest of winter days. Use your sarong to add that ray of colour and 'je ne sais quoi' to your outfit by wrapping effortlessly around your neck and shoulders.
